How is the song Any Colour You Like performed on this tour? The reason
I ask this is that there's a ROIO website that lists the track playing
times for just about every performance of this song on the tour as
being either 3:25 or 3:26 long, which happens to be just about exactly
what it is on the original studio version of DSOTM. According to its
songwriting credits, Roger was the only Floyd member not involved. It
really makes me wonder!

Also, there are 2 ROIOs from this tour called "The Trap" and "The
Wing", and they each consist of only DSOTM performances. Anybody know
why they're called that?

I would appreciate any helpful answers. Thank you.

Okay, what is an ROIO and a DSOTM and does it really matter? All I
know is that on September 29, 2006 at The First Midwest Bank
Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL, or Chicago if it's easier to remember,
I experienced a moment that shall remain unequalled when I saw Roger
Water's 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' Concert. As for RW not being
involved in the writing of Any Colour You Like, I would imagine that
was all settled years ago in the lawsuit. I have not had the pleasure
of seeing Roger Waters perform since the Animals tour, and while it is
only my opinion, and as much as I loved Pink Floyd when he was with
them, this show is 'shining on' much brighter than what we saw back
then. His genius is evidenced during every single moment of his show,
so much so that you truly would need to see the entire tour in order to
grasp everything that is going on. Trust me, Roger took you on a trip
far more stunning than one any little pill was able to provide for me
in the 1970's. Now I suppose we'll have to wait another 4-6 years for
this to be released DVD.

The other 3 guys of PF performed songs that Roger wrote alone too so, er,
whatever.

ROIO: Recording of illegitmate origin. Used in place of the b**t!eg word.
DSOTM: Dark Side of the Moon. But you figured that out on your own, didn't
you?

At the Chicago show the DSOTM lasted 42.5 minutes. I believe the album
version is 42.5 minutes. With the exception of the train during "On the Run"
the performance was nearly identical to the album. I believe I read an
article with Dave K (guitar player) and he talked about how they perform
DSOTM exactly as it is on the album.
