I saw the movie The Last Mimzy tonight. The Roger Waters song that
plays during the closing credits was disappointing. I guess Roger just
doesn't care anymore. Either that, or somebody offered him a lot of
money for a new song, and he is laughing all the way to the bank with
the way he rooked them.

*This was a poast from March 3 2007*

You saw it in the theater then?
I thought it was a great song. I watched it on HBO a couple of times.
The Music Director loves Pink Floyd and was happy to have Roger doing
singing. Remember the DSoTM Prism Tee shirt the Science teacher was
wearing? And there was another PF subtle reference I caught last night,
when we watched again...the sugar magically appears in Dad's cereal bowl in
the shape of a pyramid and there was a spoon handle sticking out of it..a
rainbow beam? <G>
Well, to each his own, frankly I really liked the song and when we watched
'the making of..' he was having a blast, talking to the little girl, playing
with Mimzy, plinking on the piano and the bass.
Well, besides the RW dissapointment for you, how did you like the movie?
I loved it and I'm mad that I can't record it :/
Good movie, for you that haven't seen it yet. It's on DVD if you don't have
HBO Family Channel.
And at the end, listen to the 'words' Roger is singing.:)
Cheers
